THE BARANGAY OF BULAN-BULAN

    Bulan-Bulan is situated at approximately 10.8816,122.1995, in the island of Panay, Bulan-Bulan is a Barangay in the municipality of San Remigio, in the province of Antique

     They named this place Bulan-Bulan, Because in ancient time before the Spanish arrived, many trees called "Bulan-Bulan"in this area.

     Around the source of water "TUBURAN"

you will see the moon shape in the time that you would take a water in this place.

When the moon arise it was the first place to be hit by the light of moon. Even the river of "INYAMAN" you will see the clearness of water if the moonlight hit this, especially in time of the bear fruit of the Inyam tree.

   And from that time they called this place "BULAN-BULAN"

   And now let me show you some known tourist spot's in our Barangay. First is the                 'PANALSALAN CAVE"

1). PANALSALAN CAVE

  -it is located at Bulan-Bulan San Remigio Antique, looking at the rock karst formation will never expect you to see a temple of it. The stunning rock karst formation with 12 cave chambers. You will also see rafflesia blooming around this place. It's an hour and a half trek or 30 minutes, motorbike ride from Aningalan San Remigio Antique.

 

  And the second is the kalahi project,

HANGING BRIDGE of Bulan-Bulan.

2).HANGING BRIDGE

   -the Hanging bridge was made on August 2018 and finished on January 26 2019 3 years ago,it is Constructed by EON Construction & Supply. The Government built it so that people will not be troublesome during the rainy season due to the flood caused by heavy rain.
